What makes us very different…

…from most other nutrition experts is our fully-qualified Metabolic Typing service. Based on over 25 years of research, Metabolic Typing is one of the most powerful tools available to determine how your body is utilising food for energy. In short, what diet works for one person isn't necessarily going to work for the next. More about Metabolic Typing.

What's your tipping point?

You may have read Malcom Gladwell’s famous book The Tipping Point. It’s essentially about how the little things can make a big difference.

For many of us, the idea of small things making big differences can be hard to believe – particularly when it comes to boosting our health.

Here is one situation you might relate to:

Carly was moaning to her friend that she has no energy despite taking multivitains buying organic, avoiding wheat and dairy. But she’s still tired. Could she be tired of trying? Her naturopath recommended giving up chewing gum and coffee. Is that really going to make a difference? Some people put it down to genetics. Could it be that simple? Or is there more to consider?

So what would be Carly’s tipping point?

The reality is, what small thing Carly needs to create big change might be quite different from someone else. At Natural Health Medicine we test and assess the true picture of you health as it is right now. Then together we find the small manageable thing – or things – that are going to make the big difference. That is, what your ‘tipping point’ is going to be.

Change doesn’t come easy for most of us

Say it is actually best for Carly to give up chewing gum and coffee - but stopping the coffee feels like giving up oxygen. The answer is simple. First, experience life without chewing gum, and then deal with the coffee issue later (if at all, another solution might be found instead).

A quick, easy and cost-effective answer can be found. AND those mountains can be moved.

And that thing about blaming your parents?

There could be something in that. Your genetic make-up has all kinds of useful information. And information is power. So rather than just assuming you have to moan and live with it, there could be one small step to counteract a ‘problem gene’.

our tipping point doesn’t have to be traumatic

Embracing small change to improve your health can actually be quite easy – and fun.
